Welcome to Reveal (“App,” “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by The Social Branch. By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 17 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 17 years old. If we discover that a user is under 17, we will immediately terminate their account and delete associated data.
If you are between 17 and 18 years of age, you represent that you have reviewed these Terms with a parent or legal guardian and that they consent to your use of the App.
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
You may not create an account on behalf of another person or use another person's account without their permission. You may not create an account using false or misleading information, or create multiple accounts for abusive purposes.
You agree NOT to use the App to:
4.1 Your Content
By submitting, posting, or displaying content on or through the App (“User Content”), you grant The Social Branch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such User Content in any and all media or distribution methods now known or later developed. This license continues even if you stop using the App or delete your User Content, to the extent it has already been shared, incorporated into our services, or used as permitted under this license.
4.2 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to review, monitor, remove, or disable access to any User Content at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
We employ automated systems and a user reporting system to help maintain the safety and quality of the App. Users can report content or other users that violate these Terms. We review reports and may remove content or take action against accounts at our sole discretion.
While we strive to moderate content effectively, we do not guarantee that all objectionable content will be identified or removed. You acknowledge that you may encounter content that is inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any User Content on the App infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) to our designated agent with the following information:

We may remove or disable access to content that is alleged to be infringing and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification with the required information under the DMCA.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including but not limited to its design, graphics, logos, trademarks, software, code, and documentation, are and shall remain our exclusive property or the property of our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our App or its content without our prior written consent.
The name “Reveal” and the Reveal logo are trademarks of The Social Branch. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding your personal data.
We collect and process your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to such collection and processing.
The App may send you push notifications to provide updates, messages, or promotional content. You can manage your notification preferences through your device settings or the App's settings at any time. Opting out of push notifications may affect certain features of the App.
The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, services, or content. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of those third parties.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content posted by users. You use the App at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SOCIAL BRANCH, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00) OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Social Branch, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at david@therevealapp.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
13.2 Binding Arbitration
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Reveal agree to resolve any claims through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except as modified by these Terms.
13.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND REVEAL AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
13.4 Opt-Out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to david@therevealapp.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms.
13.5 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive for extended periods.
Upon termination:
14.1 Account Deletion
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the App's settings or by contacting us at david@therevealapp.com. Upon your request, we will delete your account and personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms within the App, updating the “Last Updated” date, and where appropriate, notifying you by email. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations in your use of the App.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights or obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction and without notice to you. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section shall be null and void. Subject to the foregoing, these Terms will bind and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective successors and assigns.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by us.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the App, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Social Branch regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
